Diwali Dhamaka!!!
the day didn't begin with a bang as it would if i had been in Chennai.. in fact, it started quite late!! i woke up reluctantly around 11:30.. the first thought that came to my mind was.. well, what the hell do i do now??!! since i could not think of anything useful i went right back to sleep! woke up finally at 12:30.. which is not bad considering the fact that i was not even hungry and well.. again.. i didn't know what the hell to do!!
damn.. some idiot is bursting crackers now!! whacko!! when i was a kid (thats till 5th std or so) we used to have a competition of who bursts the first cracker in our street (we had hajar kids in our street then).. and my dad used to promptly burst the first atom bomb at around 4.. well.. not only did it successfully wake up the whole community.. it woke us up too!!! :( at that time it was all exciting.. now, when i think about it, it feels weird that i not only did i entertain the idea of waking up at 4 but actually was excited about it!!
somehow the idea of bursting crackers are no more appealing.. in fact, its quite annoying.. all the noise.. and of course the smoke.. now in the name of giving myself credit for reducing potential pollution in the community i actually avoid crackers simply because they cause suffocation for me!
well, today was actually a great day.. something happened which has changed my life completely.. i know i know.. it all sounds mysterious.. but just could not mentioning it.. :) those who are really interested to know may ping me! :p
the day is more or less over for me.. gonna read deception point.. and then sleep.. oh btw.. if any of you has not read it till now.. please don't even try!! you know that stress curve (or was it yiled curve.. no thats in finance.. whatever.. its a very famous curve in engineering!) where there is a breaking point.. the point where the stress gets too much and the metal cracks? well.. guess what.. Dan Brown has deception point.. this is point where he thought that he can deceive (read bore!) his readers to the maximum extent! i have been reading this book for a week now.. and it just doesn't seem to get over!! i strongly advice all you nice people out there to stay away from the book! its crap!

well.. am reading Dan Brown's fourth and its not impressive.. his quality of stories have been degrading..
